Cards and credit

Guests pour with a prepaid Tapify card. Each pour is charged from the card’s credit at that venue.

  • Get a card from the bar staff at a Tapify venue. You can also add a virtual card in the Tapify Tab app.
  • Add credit by asking the bar staff. Credit is kept per venue: credit added at one venue is used at that venue.
  • Check your balance and pours in the Tapify Tab app.
  • Lost your card? Tell the venue staff straight away so they can block it. A blocked card can’t pour or be topped up, and its credit is kept.

In the dashboard, open Draft beer → NFC cards, or scan a card with a USB reader or the Tapify Tab app.

Add credit

  1. Open the card and select Add credit.
  2. Choose Refill for money received from the guest, or Adjustment for a correction (adjustments can be negative and need a reason).
  3. Enter the amount in RON and confirm. The new balance is shown before you save.

Block or unblock

  • Block card stops the card at your venue. Pours and top-ups are refused; the credit is kept.
  • Unblock it to make it work again, unless another block still applies.

Good to know

  • New cards are issued and written from the Tapify Tab app.
  • Credit can only be added when the venue has an active station.
  • A card’s transactions list every top-up, pour, adjustment and transfer with the balance after each one.
  • If a tag isn’t recognized as a Tapify card, don’t accept it for payment.
