AI assistants

The Tapify connector for AI assistants lets bar owners and managers ask ChatGPT or Claude about their own venue in plain language, for example:

  • “How much did we sell each day last week?”
  • “What were our busiest hours yesterday, in Bucharest time?”
  • “Which kegs are in stock, including ones not on a tap?”

The Tapify connector only reads data. It never pours, charges, tops up, edits or deletes anything, and it can’t control taps, tablets or other equipment.

When you connect, you:

  1. Sign in with your Tapify account.
  2. Choose one business and the stations to share.
  3. Review the capabilities the assistant asks for (for example sales, kegs or menus) and allow or decline.

The assistant never sees more than your Tapify account can already see, and customer details stay masked according to your role, just like in the dashboard. You can revoke access at any time. Access needs to be renewed by signing in again after eight hours.

You need a Tapify account that manages a business: a venue owner or a manager allowed to manage integrations. Staff (operator) accounts and guest accounts can’t connect a business.

  • Sales are settled card charges (wallet usage) in RON. They are not fiscal revenue, top-ups or profit.
  • Volumes are in millilitres or litres, and draft-beer prices are per litre.
  • Keg levels are the levels recorded in Tapify, not a live sensor reading.
  • Dates can be grouped in UTC or Bucharest time (Europe/Bucharest).
  • Questions are bounded: daily and hourly sales cover up to 31 days, monthly trends up to 366 days, and long lists are read in pages.
